Podcasting is far from new to educators. Teachers have been listening to them for their own professional development (we personally love the Music Technology Teacher Podcast with Katie Wardrobe!), as well as using them as an instructional tool in areas such as history and science. While consuming podcasts is great, we'd like to help you encourage your students to create their own.
Your student may have an awesome idea for a podcast, but lack the technical skills to actually make it happen. That's where we come in! By using the "Creating a Podcast with Soundtrap" lesson plan available in the MusicFirst Library, or by download below, you'll be able to teach your students how to collboratively record, edit, and share their podcasts. By the end of the lesson, your students will have the ability to:
- Record & edit multiple audio tracks
- Compose & edit intro music
- Export to different file formats
Download the lesson plan here, or find it in the MusicFirst Library!
