S2 E10: Anthony Beatrice

 

Anthony Beatrice is the Executive Director for the Arts for the Boston Public Schools. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he was president of the MENC chapter, Drum Major of the marching band, and Student Trustee.

Anthony started a Massachusetts Innovation School for Music in the Pentucket Regional School District where he taught middle and high school courses in music technology, music to film and video games, concert band, percussion ensemble, public speaking, along with online music career pathway courses in music business, music education, and music composition. Anthony served over a decade on the Massachusetts Music Educators Association All-State Executive Board and was chairperson for the Northeastern Region of the state. He currently serves on the MMEA Innovations Council and is a member of the All-State Conference Committe. Anthony is in his eleventh season as conductor of the Merrimack Valley Community Concert Band. He has served as an adjunct music professor at Merrimack College, Northern Essex Community College, and UMass Lowell.
