S4 E12: Jared March
Jared March came from a non-traditional background, having been homeschooled for his entire K-12 education. After being heavily involved in music throughout those school years, he attended Western Michigan University to earn a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. He has since taught extensively as a freelance private music instructor, as well as teaching multiple levels of concert band, marching band, jazz band and brass ensembles for an educational non-profit organization. He later began teaching in the public school arena for the Gull Lake Virtual Partnership, an innovative public virtual school located in West Michigan, and currently is on staff as a full time faculty member teaching 6-12 grade virtual music. Outside of music, he enjoys camping and hiking with his wife, scuba diving and rock climbing.
