S4 E5: Jager Loyde


Mr. Nolan Jager Loyde received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from theUniversity of North Texas and his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership fromStephen F. Austin State University. He currently serves as a Director of Fine Arts inRound Rock ISD and previously served as the Assistant Director of Instrumental Musicfor Round Rock ISD.
Throughout his educational career, bands and orchestras under Mr. Loyde’s directionhave received consistent superior ratings in Texas University Interscholastic LeagueConcert and Sight Reading Evaluations. Complementary to these achievements, theSudler Shield nominated programs under his direction have been consistentlysuccessful in several marching events including Bands of America Regionals, SuperRegionals, and University Interscholastic League State Competitions.
Mr. Loyde continues his professional impact by serving as a nationally recognizedadjudicator, clinician, and conductor appearing at the Midwest Band and OrchestraClinic, Music For All Summer Symposium, Texas Music Educators AssociationConference, Missouri Music Educators Conference and many Bands of AmericaRegional, Super Regional, and National events. Most recently, he has been selected asa staff member for the Bands of America Honor Band in the 2022 Rose Parade. Mr.Loyde is grateful for the opportunity to continue to share his experiences andperspectives with educators, students, and community members who are passionateabout personal growth, student achievement, and leadership.
