MusicFirst isn’t just about skill-building—it’s a powerful platform for creativity, composition, and student expression. This session is designed for educators teaching general music classes that catch the other 80% and who are ready to inspire deeper engagement through creative projects and innovative workflows.

This session is for educators who want to use MusicFirst to spark creativity, composition, and student voice. We’ll introduce the platform’s creative tools, including notation software and digital audio workstations, then share practical project ideas for composing, arranging, recording, and producing. You’ll explore tools like Noteflight, Flat for Education, Soundtrap, and YuStudio, along with unique capabilities, cross-platform workflows, and export options. We’ll also introduce O-Gen+ and highlight ways these tools can work together to support engaging, student-centered creative projects.
