Marjorie LoPresti is Head of Content (US) for MusicFirst. She has over thirty years’ experience teaching elementary and secondary general/vocal music, piano, music technology, theory, and composition. Marj was named New Jersey Master Music Teacher and received the TI:ME Music Technology Teacher of the Year Award based on her deep knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, technology integration, brain-based learning, and standards-based assessment. Marj holds degrees in Music Education and Educational Technology, and is co-author of Practical Music Education Technology, Oxford University Press. Her experience with MusicFirst began as one the the very first customers in 2012, progressed to power-user, ambassador, content development consultant, and evolved to her current role authoring and overseeing content for the MusicFirst Classroom and PracticeFirst.
