Elementary Marketing Specialist
Melanie Alexander is the Elementary Marketing Specialist at MusicFirst, helping bring MusicFirst Elementary, the company’s K–5 music curriculum, to classrooms everywhere. She has nearly 17 years of experience as an elementary music specialist in Louisiana and previously supported educators as an Education Technology Marketing Coordinator at Hal Leonard. Melanie has also served as an adjunct instructor for Principles of Teaching Elementary School Music at Louisiana State University and holds both a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music from LSU. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early/Middle Childhood Music and a Teaching Fellow with Louisiana A+ Schools, promoting arts integration across the state.
